Podere Torricella is a large old rambling Tuscan farm house located on a hill among olive groves and vineyards only 18 km from the centre of Florence. It represents an ideal base to easily reach the most important artistic cities of Tuscany; Pisa, Siena, Lucca, S. Gimignano, Volterra, Vinci and of course Florence.

OTHER FACILITIES AVAILABLE NEAR BY: Montefiridolfi is a little village with shops for the first necessities. The village is situated in the heart of the countryside, among the hills that surround the Pesa valley. The village of Cerbaia, with more diversity, a pharmacy, and a supermarket, is 3 Km away.
Horse riding: It is possible to go horse riding at the Riding Centre Horse World, which is situated on the same road as the villa, about 200 meters or yards away.

DEPOSIT: A deposit of 22% of the total letting price is payable at the time of booking. It may be paid by credit card or wire transfer. Upon receipt of your deposit you will be sent via e-mail a voucher confirming your payment with contact and arrival details.
BALANCE: The balance is due no later than 56 days (8 weeks) prior to the beginning of the letting period and must be sent to InTuscany via credit card or wire transfer. If the balance is not paid by the appropriate date, the letting agreement will be deemed to be invalid and the deposit forfeited. ‘InTuscany’ will send you a reminder when the balance is due and advise you how to send the money.
CANCELLATION: In the unfortunate event of you needing to cancel all or part of your holiday we will have to charge either:
a) deposit only - if cancellation is received more than 8 weeks before letting, or
b) Total rent - if cancellation is received less than 8 weeks before letting.
INSURANCE: All tenants are advised to consider insurance needs in relation to travel, accident, medical and personal cover; 'In Tuscany' can not accept liability for any accident, injury, loss or damage sustained by tenants.
IN THE EVENT OF DISPUTE: all disputes will be heard in the court of Montepulciano.

Yes we did have a great trip! We had a wonderful stay at Torricella and we drove over 1000 kms within Tuscany during the week. Tuscany is heaven on earth. The apartment was perfect, and the little restaurant at Torricella serves excellent food (as most places in Italy). Our children also enjoyed the stay very much. They/we used the table tennis facilities every day, and they appreciated the Italian food and ice-cream very much. I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had in Tuscany at Torricella. The apartment was spacious, clean and reasonably well equipped. We had some delightful neighbours and the entire atmosphere was warm and inviting. And the view! Gorgeous. The grounds were kept so tidy! They were just opening up the pool for the season so the water was a little cold for us but we did enjoy sitting in the sun watching the thick skinned children (our upstairs neighbours) play blissfully in the water. We had dinner in the restaurant on our last night and it was probably the best we had during our entire trip. Our host's and the pleasant young woman who worked in the office were all wonderful. Thanks so much for your help and for making the first week of our first visit to Italy so enjoyable. I know we'll return!

Dear Manola, We safely made it back to Seattle, Washington late last night after an hour delayed flight in Philadelphia connecting to our Seattle flight. It was definitely a long journey home but through it all, we felt it was all worth it. Podere Torricella is definitely the place to be if ever we're in Tuscany again. We absolutely enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, the greens around the villa and the spectacular view of the mountains and fields we saw from the pool and the unit we were in. You were so helpful in every possible way and we are truly grateful for that. I have one suggestion though, perhaps there will be a much better mattress in the master bedroom (double bed) next time. We could really feel the spring on the one we had in our unit and it made sleeping a little tougher at times. Well, I hope to see you again in the future and I will definitely recommend your place to friends and families who'll travel to Tuscany. Ciao!

Just to let you know we had a very enjoyable stay at Podere Torricella. The gentleman who helped us there (father of Christiano who runs it) was very polite and helpful, a true gentleman. It was well signposted and easy to find by car with the directions given. Accommodation was clean and tidy and pretty much as we had expected. We were happy with the location and with the help of owners were able to catch bus to Florence for the day with ease. They gave plenty of directions as to where to shop for food. The restaurant attached to the the farm and accommodation was very good, had a lovely ambiance and very good food. We had some trouble locating accommodation that suited our needs for this particular time of year, which was one reason that we chose this property. We required two double bedrooms with two bathrooms, only four nights and of course in November as well. Podere Torricella gave us all this, the only hesitation being that the second bathroom was very small, Other than this, we were very pleased with our choice. Thank you for your help in booking this property, we had a faultless holiday in Italy (and Spain) with perfect weather!!

We had a wonderful time at the farm. The owner met with us and personally showed us the beautiful rooms and property. The kids had a ball of a time. The pool, table tennis was a big plus. The location of the property could not be better. It overlooks the vineyards at the top of the hill and had a fantastic view. We would sit till late every day in the open overlooking the greenery around and the rolling hills getting drunk on the various Tuscan wines available in plenty and at a very reasonable price. The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen etc was 5* quality. We wished we had spent a few days more.! Will definitely visit again in the future. Only advice is that you must carry insect/mosquito repellent with you. Thanks again!
