Here is a low down of who we are:

Director, Marketing and Promotion - Manola Croci

“I was born and raised in Tuscany in a small village of 600 people on a hill where the wind never stops. It is so welcome in the summer when it relieves us from the hot Tuscan sun, but it's not a pleasure in the winter when it becomes the freezing Tramontana wind that blows down from the Siberian plains.

My mother was born in the Valdichiana where everything is very tranquil and she hates the continuous hairdo disturbing quality of our breezy village. However I'm so used to, that I love it on my face when it is just a slow breeze and even when it shows all its power. It is as if it gives me energy and wherever I am, when it arrives, I feel I'm home.

I started working for in Tuscany by chance and now it has become a part of my life.I love my work because there is always something new and different happening .

Liaising between our clients and the property owners constantly brings me in touch with new and different people from all over the world. “

Director, Web Master - Paolo Lazzari

I have always lived in Castelmuzio, a little village of 250 souls immersed in the green hills of Tuscany.

I love football. I play for a local team and that is what I prefer doing in my spare time.

Paolo is the silent force behind InTuscany, he is the one that makes sure our web site always works smoothly and is easy for you to use. He manages all the electronic and technical systems that keep InTuscany ticking over and makes every one else’s jobs ten times easier. Whether programming new pages, driving the search engines or overhauling links and problems, with out Paolo InTuscany would quickly grind to a halt.

Borgo di Bucine

Borgo di Bucine

Borgo di Bucine is a perfect Tuscan holiday destination, only 40 minutes from both Florence and Siena but immersed in the tranquil beauty of a typical rural setting. Family owned and managed, this property has been tastefully restored and outfitted to provide every thing necessary for a perfect holiday.

The property has always been the country seat of a noble family and still to this day produces fine wines and olive oil. At the turn of the 19th century the owner decided he needed a more modern residence befitting his station and contracted Coppede to design a very imposing and regal castle like mansion in full flung liberty style.

This magnificent and very amusing structure dominates the landscape in the most delightful way, making Borgo di Bucine quite unique in the area. The original 16th century noble villa and the farm buildings involving wine and olive oil production are still intact. They can be seen nestling along the drive way that leads to the apartment complex.

An elegant restaurant serves breakfast daily and dinner three times a week, special diets can be catered to upon request.

There are 11 apartments and 5 bedroom suites above the main reception. They have been restored from a small complete village that once provided housing for the estate workers and peasants. Each apartment is provided with conditioned air in the bedrooms, independent heating system, telephone, satellite television (two English stations), kitchen or cooking corner, LCD Tv 26” in the apartments for 2 people and tv 32” in the apartments for 4-6 people. The Internet Wi-Fi connection is free in all the common spaces (hall, bar, restaurant terrace), so you will be always connected to the world from a privileged position.

The pool (20 x 8 meters) is in it’s own garden. It is well furnished with tables, chairs, umbrellas and sun lounges and several charming wrought iron pagodas that are in keeping with the architectural style of the main villa. From the pool one can see vine yards, olive groves, natural wooded areas and some distant medieval villages, the landscape has remained virtually unchanged over the course of the centuries.
The gardens abound with rose beds, lavender hedges, geraniums in pots and acres ofimmaculately mown rolling lawns. The property is approached by a regal avenue of ancient Cyprus trees.
If you are looking for a venue for an important anniversary, an exclusive party or to celebrate your wedding, the Borgo di Bucine offers its garden and the Country House to make your events unforgettable.
The borgo offers to its guests bikes for excursions in the surroundings. Don't miss the chance to pedal into unpolluted nature and breathe the air of Chianti hills.
