Villa Senese is an ancient mansion dating back to the eighteenth century, located in the heart of Chianti Senese, just 17 km away from Siena and 45 Km from Florence. Villa Senese is an holiday villa in Tuscany, located in a vantage position on a hill above the old town of Staggia Senese. Recently subjected to a fine renovation and restoration, that has enhanced typical charm of the Tuscan villas without altering the original structure, Villa Senese is today an ideal place to enjoy a pleasant and exclusive stay under the Tuscan sun and to visit the most important art cities of the area.

It was originally a manor to host the noble families during the hottest months of the summer. The villa has belonged to the same family for several generations and it is now managed by the young owner and his girlfriend who take care of their guests with attention and respect in a friendly and genuine family atmosphere. Its location in the center of Tuscany, a few km from the highway Firenze-Siena and near the historic intersection between Via Cassia and Via Francigena, makes Villa Senese the perfect location to experience the essence of Tuscany in the many enogastronomic, cultural and art-historical sites of the typical villages in the area.

GARDEN & SWIMMING POOL: The villa is surrounded by a fully fenced park. The park is a botanical garden with a romantic grove of cedars and oaks, a beautiful gazebo suitable for outdoor dining and a yard with lemon trees perfect for relaxing.

In a secluded area to the back of the villa, nestled among cypress and olive trees, is the swimming pool surrounded by a large green lawn. The pool (10 x 5 meters and 1,40-1,60 meters deep) is open from May 1st to October 31st.

ACCOMODATION: The villa has an area of 500 m² and can easily accommodate 14 people. Wi-Fi internet connection available.

The ground floor shows the great rooms typical of the eighteen century villas inspired by the palladian style. On the right side of the large entrance there is a wide and bright living room which is the largest and the oldest room of the building. Featured by great vaults, is enhanced by a rare fireplace in green marble and is furnished with luxurious and antique furnitures. On the left side of the entrance there is the dining room and from there you can access to the kitchen, which has been completely renovated and is composed of a wide marble plan which allows a very comfortable cooking, it is also equipped with every kitchen tools and cooking technologies. On this floor there is available one double bedroom with bathroom with disabled facilities.

On the first floor there is the sleeping area. There are six rooms, all equipped with air conditioning. Two rooms have king size beds and private bathrooms. Other two rooms have queen size beds and private bathroom. The last two rooms have a shared bathroom, one with a double bed and one with two twin beds. Each room is furnished with elegant furniture dating back to the eighteen century in order to preserve the charm of an elegant atmosphere.

There is also a second floor, with separate access, that is the apartment of the caretaker who will always be available for any requirement. We want to underline that, where not otherwise indicated, all internal and external spaces are at the exclusive guests disposal.

LOCATION: Villa Senese is near to Siena and San Gimignano as well as within easy reach of most important Tuscan places of interest. The nearest airport is Florence airport about 45 minutes. Pisa is just over an hour and Rome airports are about three hours away.

Villa Senese is situated 2 km from the town of Staggia Senese where there is restaurant, supermarket, bank, post office and chemistry. The nearest train station is in Castellina Scalo at about 3 kilometres.

In case of cancellation of a booking, the clients are entitled to a refund based on the days in advance of arrival day, as follows:

• If the cancellation is made 60 days or more prior arrival day: 100% of the amount paid; no penalty applied.
• If the cancellation is made between 59 and 30 days prior arrival day: 0% of the amount paid.
• If the cancellation is made between 29 and 7 days prior arrival day: 0% of the amount paid.
• If the cancellation is made between 6 and 1 days prior arrival day: 0% of the amount paid.
